Seeking Trustees for FLINSO!

17 May 2021

The Friends of Lincolnshire Schools Orchestras (FLINSO) are seeking two new trustees to support youth music in Lincolnshire as we look to the future beyond coronavirus and its restrictions.

If you have a passion for youth music in Lincolnshire, and would be willing and able to act as a trustee we would love to hear from you. You would be particularly welcome if you have previous experience as a trustee or legal or financial skills. We're also particularly keen to hear from any young people, aged between 18-30, who have been involved in youth music or have an interest in music and/or education. As well as enthusiasm to support this essential aspect of life for our children and young people, you will need time to meet (virtually) 3-6 times per year.
Historically the trustees were committee members drawn from parents of the participants in the group. We may be able to call on this group in future, especially for practical support such as ticket and raffle selling at Tuesday Band concerts, or as the provider of chaperones.
As a Registered Charity, we have also been able to support the groups financially.
