9 July 2020
Lincolnshire Music Service is delighted to coordinate a Primary Music Network session on Thursday 9th July, 1.30-3.00pm. The session is free and open to all Lincolnshire primary music coordinators and/or headteachers.
The aim of the Primary Music Network is to provide a base for primary schools to bring questions, share best practice, learn about Speed Admin (including direct billing to families), discuss the latest guidance and research, and build useful relationships with others.
This session will focus on:
- Current research and Covid-19 related guidance, with specific focus on music provision (presented by the author of the research Gary Griffiths – Music Mark)
- Lincolnshire Music Service’s offer to schools for 2020/21 (presented by Head of Service Jennifer McKie)
- Have a sneak preview at Speed Admin to understand how direct billing will work for schools/families
- Schemes of learning for Autumn Term 2020 – an open discussion sharing ideas/questions with specific focus on changes and restrictions due to Covid-19. Input from Sue Nicholls.
The session will be interactive and participants will be encouraged to share their own thoughts, ideas and questions.
We will be using Video Conferencing for the session and will notify all applicants of the software meeting codes in due course.
