Lincolnshire Music Service is the lead organisation of the Lincolnshire Music Hub and receives annual funding from the Department for Education. During 2021/2022, we partnered with 91% of Lincolnshire schools and around 20 organisations to create a joined-up music education provision, respond to local need and fulfil the objectives of the National Plan for Music Education. Almost 15,000 children and young people received instrumental and vocal tuition with many more engaged in high quality events and opportunities across the county. Our 2022 stakeholder survey outlined that:

  • 80% of stakeholders outlined LMEH provides high-quality opportunities for all young people
  • 99% of young people outlined they enjoy their lessons
  • 74% of stakeholders outlined that the remissions in place provide a supportive scheme for our most disadvantaged
  • 84% of young people outlined their teacher helps them make good progress
  • 82% of stakeholders outlined LMEH as good value

Many families, young people, schools and partners also outlined that they would be delighted to get more involved in helping to shape the offer for 2023 and beyond!

We want to hear from you and would love to see you at the focus groups!
