Sleaford Music Centre meet on a Tuesday evening. Come along and join on of our ensembles and learn in a fun, friendly and supportive environment

All groups start week commencing Monday 3rd May and run weekly during term time.

String Orchestra | Tuesday | 4:15-5:30pm |
The String Orchestra is for string players from music reading beginner up to Grade 8 and beyond. The ensemble plays a mixture of music everyone can play together in the first half, to advanced string orchestra music for the grade 3-8 player in the second half. |
Wind Band | Tuesday | 4:15 - 5:30pm |
The wind band is for all woodwind, brass and percussion instruments from grade 2 up to grade 8 and beyond. Arrangements of a wide variety of music are tailored to fit all players. |
The Big Band | Tuesday | 5:45 - 6:30pm |
The Big Band plays a mixture of swing, Latin and contemporary big band charts, and is open to any students who play woodwind, brass and rhythm section instruments (approximately grade 4 and above). |
Folk Rock Ensemble | Tuesday | 5:45 - 6:30pm |
The Folk Rock ensemble is for fluent players grade 3 and above on folk instruments including all string instruments, guitar, bass guitar, drums and pipe. All other folk instruments are welcome including harp, hurdy-gurdy, mandolin, banjolele, bodhran, piano accordion. |
The Mash Up Ensemble | Tuesday | 4:15 - 5:15pm |
The Mash Up Ensemble is available for all students beginner to grade 3 whatever instrument you play. The arrangements are written to suit the players present. |
Pop Choir | Tuesday | 5:30 - 6:30pm |
Open to all those who enjoy singing and want to perform contemporary 'pop' songs with others. This is a new group come along and have a go. |
