Description 

The junior band is a windband for beginner woodwind, brass and percussion players.  Some instruments are available for complete beginners to borrow and learn within the band.

The senior band is a windband for Grade 3+ woodwind, brass and percussion players.  The band plays a mixture of pop, jazz, and classical repertoire.

Boston Youth Pop Choir is a national award-winning choir open to all to Year 6+ singers.  They sing a range of repertoire including pop, gospel and musical theatre.  The choir has been chosen twice to perform at the prestigious Music for Youth Prom in the Royal Albert Hall.

Boston Youth Jazz Orchestra is a unique national award-winning ensemble with opportunities for vocals, alto/tenor/baritone saxophone, trumpet, trombone, keyboard, electric guitar, bass guitar, and drum kit.  A Grade 5+ standard is preferred. If places are oversubscribed, we hold very friendly auditions in September.  BYJO has performed many times at the prestigious Music for Youth Prom in the Royal Albert Hall.
