Music Centres
Music Centres provide out of school music making opportunities, introducing children and young people to music. This year our area music centres will be entirely 'virtual', all working together to produce a number of performances.
Lincolnshire Music Service is proud to continue serving the communities of Boston, Grantham, Sleaford, Spalding, Stamford, Louth, Lincoln and beyond during these restricted times by offering you the chance to continue playing with others in our Lincolnshire Music Centre for 2020/21.
Music Centre ensembles will have a new look, for one year only!
This year our area music centres will be entirely 'virtual', all working together to produce a number of performances. Where ever you live in the county you can take part in any ensemble and access our Lincolnshire Music Centre activities on line. As restrictions lift, we may be able to introduce a blended model of virtual as well as face to face delivery back in our area locations in accordance with national guidance.
As a member of the Lincolnshire Music Centre, you will receive a resource package for each piece. This will include:
- Access to scores and video tutorials from 18th January 2021
- Three online sectional rehearsals from Monday 1st February – Friday 26th February (see Area for specific details)
- Professionally mixed performance recordings. Upload by Monday 1st March.
- Virtual Concert and film premieres on Monday 29th March 6pm.
