We are recruiting!

Interview Date: 6 July 2018

The award-winning Lincolnshire Music Service is looking to recruit committed and experienced primary music and vocal tutors largely in the South of the County.

Instrumental Tutor

About Lincolnshire Music Service:

The award winning Lincolnshire Music Service (LMS) is the lead organisation of the Lincolnshire Music Education Hub. LMS delivers high quality music opportunities to almost every school and has an excellent reputation. LMS consists of around 100 instrumental tutors and a management team of around 10 staff members. We are united to ‘Make Music Matter’ in Lincolnshire and are passionate about what we achieve for our children and young people.

Lincolnshire Music Service operates their own pay-scale for instrumental tutors with the hourly rate variable depending on qualifications and experience. The posts are due to commence in September 2018 subject to the necessary checks and procedures.

About the role:

We seek instrumental tutors (singing, percussion, brass, classroom music, guitar and woodwind) to deliver tuition, term-time only, in schools largely in the south of the county (Grantham, Bourne, Stamford, Spalding, Holbeach and Sleaford). These are part-time positions, initially with around 12 hours each, however can be amalgamated for candidates with the right skill sets and they all have potential for growth.

About you:

Are you suitably qualified for instrumental teaching in schools? Do you have any instrumental teaching experience? Are you passionate about Music Education and want to make a difference to children and young people in Lincolnshire? Do you want to become part of a team to deliver music provision to children and young people? Would you like to support non-specialist music teachers within the county?

If you are capable of the above then we would love to hear from you.
